The Nepalese Women’s Football Team in WA was created to give women in Perth the chance to enjoy regular social sports. This started because we noticed a lack of opportunities for women to showcase their sports skills, especially within the Nepalese community (although we welcome people from all backgrounds). We’ve been successful in playing soccer with the Nepalese United Football Club Western Australia for over a year. They’ve provided us with coaches and gear to improve our skills. We want to encourage more women to get into sports, especially soccer, and we’re looking for like-minded individuals to join us. Come join us on Mondays at Coker Park Cannington from 6pm to 8pm. All skill levels are welcome, even if you’re just enthusiastic and eager to learn – that’s more than enough!
