There’s exciting news for Nepalese parents and children reading at the secondary level (Year 7 – Year 12).  In association with the Nepalese Association of Western Australia (NAWA), Nepali Language and Arts School has organised a workshop for secondary-level students of Nepali origin to promote rich Nepali language: culture and traditions. To understand the value of one’s own identity, it is necessary to understand one’s roots and various aspects attached to culture and language. This half-day workshop can act as a bridge between those children and rich Nepali cultures.

Apart from networking opportunities and broader community involvement, the workshop contains fun and meaningful activities like Quizzes & Games, Yoga & Meditation, etc.

The workshop will help children with social and mental development. It allows them to understand their sense of belonging in relation to Nepali language, culture and values.
